UF-IFAS Extension is hosting a program on new technologies for fruit and vegetable production. This program is scheduled for February 28, 2014 from 12 pm to 5 pm at various host sites across the state. This seminar is via polycom which is a video conferencing system. Some of the unique topics to be covered by this program are: BioChar, Smart Irrigation Practices, Plant Immunity vs. Disease Control, Post-harvest Quality Control, and Plant Pathogenic Nematode Management.
There is no cost to attending this program at the Sumter County Extension Office.
